The Super Nintendo Entertainment System was Nintendo’s first 16 bit gaming console that was originally released in 1990 and successor of successful Nintendo Entertainment System and was direct competitor with Sega Genesis. It was the winner of 16-bit era and has wide range of softwares library.

The SNES is still popular even in today era, thanks to emulation softwares and implementation of Virtual Console in Wii. Nintendo Consoles are still sought by retro gamers and collectors.
